PNC Bank Executive David Olsen Named National Chair of the American Chamber of Commerce in Canada

TORONTO, April 20, 2022 – The American Chamber of Commerce in Canada (AMCHAM Canada) today announced that Toronto banking executive David Olsen has been appointed as the national chair for the organization’s board of directors. Olsen is the regional president and principal officer for PNC Bank in Canada with more than 25 years of finance experience in both the U.S. and in Canada.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dave as our new AMCHAM Canada national chair,” said Rick Tachuk, AMCHAM Canada’s retiring national chair. “His prior leadership as national vice chair and deep knowledge of our members and international business makes him the ideal candidate to move AMCHAM Canada’s mission forward, and we are excited to have him in this leadership role.”

Responsible for all aspects of PNC Bank’s growth across Canada, Olsen has a deep-seeded knowledge of corporate banking, treasury management, business banking, retail banking and risk management. During his tenure with PNC, he has held a number of leadership roles and prior to his current position, Olsen served as the bank’s chief operating officer in Canada. Olsen has served as the vice chair for AMCHAM Canada for the last three years and is currently the GTA chair. He is also active with several other cross-border investment focused entities, including serving as the founding chair of InvestUSA. Olsen earned a bachelor’s degree from Miami University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University.

Olsen will be joined by the 16 members of the board of directors and the national executive leadership team, which includes Rick Tachuk, Michel Belval, Bill Kitay, Andrea van Vugt and Kara Eusebio.
