Stephanie Mazhari is the Manager of Entrepreneurship Services at the Regional Municipality of Halton in the Greater Toronto Area. Stephanie oversees the Region’s Small Business Enterprise Centre which supports Halton entrepreneurs to start-up, manage and grow their businesses. Stephanie also manages Halton’s new Global Business Centre which provides export support services and programming for Halton businesses in the communities of Burlington, Halton Hills, Milton, and Oakville who want to scale-up and go global.
Prior to her role in Entrepreneurship Services, Stephanie was the Economic Development Officer for Halton Region specializing in investment attraction. Stephanie was responsible for delivering a wide variety of economic development services including investment attraction, business development, and marketing and communications. Stephanie’s primary role was to build awareness and relationships with investment influencers, the local business community, private stakeholders, and provincial and federal leaders to drive investment and promote the region as one of the best locations in Canada for business investment. For over 10 years, Stephanie had been assisting companies navigate the expansion and relocation process.
Stephanie is a member of the Economic Developers Council of Ontario (EDCO), and an active participant in various institutional, business and professional agencies and organizations in the region.
Stephanie holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Western Ontario.
