Aylin joined UPS in 2013, based in UPS’s Europe Region headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. Between 2013-2016 Aylin held roles managing UPS public affairs related to international trade policy, customs, data privacy and cyber security. In her current role, she oversees all UPS government affairs activity at federal, provincial and municipal levels in Canada.
Prior to joining UPS, Aylin worked as a Policy Officer at the American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union, where she facilitated advocacy relating to transatlantic trade relations, customs, financial services and taxation. Aylin has also worked at the European Commission’s Bureau of European Policy Advisers (now the European Political Strategy Centre), and the House of Commons of the United Kingdom.
Aylin holds an MSc in European Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a BA in European Social and Political Studies from University College London (UCL). She also studied at the Université Paris-Sorbonne (Paris IV) as part of an exchange program. Aylin is the Executive Sponsor of UPS Canada’s Women’s Leadership Development program, a member of the board of the Organization for Women in International Trade (OWIT) in Toronto, and a member of the board of the Canadian American Business Council (CABC).
Aylin speaks English, French and Turkish.
