Inaugural AmCham Canada Social Impact Award

Monday, September 10, 2018

The American Chamber of Commerce in Canada, the voice of American business and cross-border trade in Canada, is pleased to announce the inaugural AmCham Canada Social Impact Award. This award will be granted to the U.S. based company that has made a positive social impact in Canada over the past year.

By initiating this new award, AmCham Canada is raising the awareness of the cross-border community beyond just trade and economy by featuring the award recipients’ social impact. We hope this award further builds on the positive and constructive collaboration between the U.S. and Canada through the sharing of positive stories.

The winner will be presented the award at AmCham Canada’s U.S. Thanksgiving Dinner, which will be held in downtown Toronto on Thursday, November 15, 2018 (full event details coming soon). U.S. Ambassador Kelly Craft is expected to be in attendance at the award ceremony.

AmCham Canada is calling on a select number of U.S. based companies who have made a positive social impact in Canada, whether it be continuous training and skills development, education and apprenticeships, charitable initiatives, environmental efforts or mental health and wellness programs, to submit their story of social impact success.
