Visit USA

The US has always been a favoured destination for Canadians due to its geographic proximity and wide variety of tourist destinations. AmCham Canada encourages Canadians to travel south of the border and explore the exciting vistas that the US has to offer. One of our partners in this initiative is the Visit USA Committee-Canada.

The focus of the Visit USA Committee-Canada is on expanding the travel/tourism market from Canada to the United States. The 100-plus members of the committee are volunteers and represent a cross-section of hotels and attractions, airlines, motor coach companies, rail, rental cars, marketing companies who conduct business into the United States or represent USA destinations. We are pleased to have many US-based State Tourism Organizations and CVB's among our members.

Among other services, the committee provides members an industry-leading Visit USA Canada newsletter and works with trade show professionals and the U.S. Commercial Service in providing opportunities for members to participate in SeeAmerica trade shows in various Canadian cities, each with a dedicated USA pavilion. This provides VUSA Canada members a great opportunity to represent their USA product with Canadian travel agents and tour operators in both Western and Eastern Canada.
